Are you Okay? Home Calling Services

Westlake Police Department works in conjunction with the Westlake Center for Community Services to manage the free home check calling service Are You Okay?TM for senior citizens and other qualified residents.

Community Services

The Community Services Department offers programs and activities to enrich the lives of the 50 plus population at Westlake Center and provides a system of social services for Westlake residents of all ages. A variety of social, educational and recreational activities are offered as well as health screenings.

City of Westlake Resources

Resources include information about home health care, adult day care, senior housing, Meals on Wheels, alternative transportation, employment options, Ohio Benefit Bank, and geriatric assessments.

Senior Center

The mission of the North Olmsted Division of Aging/Senior Center, a community focal point, and multi-purpose Senior Center is to stimulate the intellectual, physical and spiritual well being of participants by providing supportive and innovative service that help maintain the independence and dignity of those 55 years and older.

Are You Okay? - Home Calling Service

The North Olmsted Police Department offers this free telephone reassurance program consisting of daily check-in phone calls for older residents. Choose a time you would like to be checked in on every day and the department will contact you to ask “Are You Ok?” If you do not answer after two attempts an officer will be dispatched to your home to check on you. Please call the non-emergency number of the North Olmsted Police Department at 440-777-3535 for more information and an application.
