We Need Your Help

Westlake Meals on Wheels is 100% community supported. We are a non-profit, non-government funded, community service organization that needs and appreciates donations to continue our mission to our neighbors in Cuyahoga counties far western suburbs. We are an IRS certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so your donations are tax deductible. Please consider Westlake Meals on Wheels when making special bequests or in memory or honor of a loved one.

There are many ways to help. For those who can't volunteer directly, there is always shopping, in-kind donations, and monetary donations. We appreciate any size donation! We accept checks, credit cards, and Paypal.

But I Don't Live in Westlake!

Since 1974, Westlake Meals on Wheels has been serving Westlake's home-bound and elderly. Over the last 40+ years, we've been blessed with strong fiscal managers who spend our donors' money wisely. This fiscal prudence enabled us to expand our mission into other communities. Currently, Westlake Meals on Wheels serves the communities in far western Cuyahoga county including Bay Village, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township, and Westlake.

Community loyalty runs strong - this is good! General donations give the best opportunity to efficiently use your contributions, giving us the most flexibility in serving the elderly and home-bound. We also accept donations for a specific purpose or community. Simply let us know your wishes and we'll do our very best to abide.

In-Kind Donations

In-kind donations (also called gifts in kind) are charitable donations of goods or services instead of donations of money or stock. Items like food, office equipment, the performance of services, etc. are examples of in-kind donations. This type of donation is usually given by businesses or organizations. There are many items we can use in place of money such as dry goods, cleaning supplies, office supplies, printing, graphic design, kitchen supplies or similar items. Please contact our executive director prior to making an in-kind donation.

Baking Item Donation Collection

In keeping with current county health department commercial kitchen standards, we can not accept home-cooked meals or bakery. Accordingly, we prefer cash donations but we also can accept certain canned food and kitchen items. Download a partial list of baking items.
